Beyond the book is a book club meant to facilitate conversation around the ways in which authors of unique cultural and ethnic backgrounds present their stories. We believe that literature can be more than just a fun hobby. It can be a gateway to a deeper understanding of the many social issues that people face each day.
We know that stories have the ability to bridge knowledge gaps and foster empathy and hope that through this club you might find your own voice on these issues.
Our mission has always been to connect people to social issues through literature. We aim to promote various social causes, whether that be through our fundraising events or our discussions each month. Keep a look out for our events!
